Lone Corndog Closes for ODF on a 37-Sale Fall Board

ODF posted the Lone Corndog result on October 19, the newest close on the fall public timber board. Price, volume and bidder count were not in the published data at press time. The board stands at 37 sold sales since August 19, with green sawtimber at a median 31 percent over minimum on 88,071 MBF of state timber sold.

• Coal Train (WA DNR, Northwest): Hardest-bid sale on the board. Cleared $18.86/ton against a $3.71/ton per-unit minimum, 408 percent over the per-unit minimum, 1 bidder. Total high bid $578,153 against a $113,730 total minimum.
• GNA Reese's Pieces (MT DNRC, Northwestern Land Office): Cleared $29.82/ton against a $9.53/ton per-unit minimum, 213 percent over the per-unit minimum, 3 bidders. Total high bid $226,871 against a $72,504 total minimum.
• No bids: Five sales drew no qualifying bid in the recent period, including Country Boy, Q Parody Peak and Q Dead End (all WA DNR).
• East Bead (WA DNR): Largest-volume sale on the board at 50,644 tons. Total high bid $1,864,206.
